BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition 2026: Education Ministry To Showcase India's Deep-Tech, Research & Startup Ecosystem

The Union Ministry of Education is hosting the Bharat Innovates Exposition 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on September 11 and 12. The two-day exposition aims to showcase India's deep-tech capabilities and strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions, research organisations, startups and global industry. India's BRICS Chairship theme, "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability," will be featured at the exposition. The event is being held alongside the 18th BRICS Summit 2026, scheduled for September 12 and 13. Thirty-seven Indian deep-tech startups and ventures will participate in the exposition. The participating ventures are aligned with India's BRICS Chairship theme. The exposition is designed to bring India's higher education-led innovation ecosystem closer to international stakeholders. The Ministry of Education's Bharat Innovates programme seeks to create long-term international partnerships around innovations emerging from India's higher education ecosystem. The exposition will be linked with CEOs, investors, business leaders and industry representatives from BRICS member countries. B2B meetings and structured matchmaking will be facilitated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi are expected to visit the exposition. Senior Indian and international delegates are also expected to visit the exhibition. Participating startups will have an opportunity to present their technologies to international investors and explore potential partnerships and market opportunities. The Education Ministers' Meeting was held on August 7, 2026, and the 3rd BRICS Senior Officials' Meeting on Education was held on August 5 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
